Looking for that fabulous spot to hold your next family reunion, group retreat or wedding? Camp Mont Shenandoah is perfect for your event! Our facilities are available for lease outside of our camping season (May through mid-June, mid August through September). Past events have included family gatherings, retreats, and social groups.
Camp Mont Shenandoah, a summer camp for girls since 1927, is nestled in the Allegheny Mountains of Bath County, Virginia. The property and surrounding area include open fields, woods with trails, streams, hills and unmatched views. The camp is located on the pristine, emerald green waters of the Cowpasture River. Accommodations are rustic yet cozy, dorm-style cabins with nearby bathhouses. Other facilities include a dining hall called The Feedbag where all of the delicious meals are served, Vesper Hill where evening campfires are accompanied by sunsets hanging over the river and West Lodge, a large building with a stage, perfect for an evening gathering. In the event you prefer a quiet spot for relaxation and contemplation, we have ample locations for peaceful solitude or intimate conversations.
Activities available to groups include swimming, canoeing, tennis, softball, fishing, volleyball, ping-pong, and badminton. We also have babysitting services available for those groups requiring childcare. The surrounding community offers a number of additional activities and amenities, including The Homestead Resort, George Washington National Forest, Douthat State Park, antique stores and boutique shops.
So, come to Camp Mont Shenandoah with your group for a time of enjoyment, relaxation and inspiration. Please contact us for weekend availability and fees
