Met our OUTSTANDING 2018 Counseling Staff

Hi my name is Clay Coddington and I am so excited to be returning this summer for my sixth year as a counselor and my eleventh summer overall. I am currently attending The University of Virginia pursuing a Masters Degree in English Education. What I love most about camp are the quiet moments surrounded by campers, counselors, and friends where the appreciation for the company and beauty of nature is around you… and of course jumping in the River!!! What inspires me the most about being a counselor is the connection and bond formed with the campers. There is nothing more special than being able to provide a child with a safe space to grow and learn about who they are while having a boat load of fun as well. A fun fact about me is that growing up I danced for 16 years!”
