Mary-Gordon Brown

Introducing a member of our Healthcare team, Mary-Gordon Brown.  Mary-Gordon is thrilled to assist with Opening Day and Change Over Day check-ins. Her connection to camp runs deep; her mother attended in the 1960s, and Mary-Gordon herself was a camper in the 1990s, eventually becoming the Buff Team Captain in 1997. She had the pleasure of being a counselor and working in the Pill Box in the early 2000s. Since her daughters, Avery and Taylor, started attending camp in 2020, she’s cherished working in the Pill Box each summer.

Residing in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Mary-Gordon has an extensive background in cardiology and school nursing as a family nurse practitioner. She is currently pursuing her doctorate of nursing practice at Virginia Commonwealth University, with an expected completion date in May 2026. She’s thrilled to bring her experience and enthusiasm back to Camp Mont Shenandoah and to contribute to a safe and healthy environment for all.
