Healthcare Manager
Introducing, Peyton, a member of our healthcare team! Peyton grew up in Baltimore, MD and spent 10 summers at CMS as a camper, CIT, and counselor. Camp is deeply rooted in her family—her mother, Cathy Hutchins, spent many summers at CMS and most recently served as Program Director for six years. Peyton’s sister and aunt are also proud CMS alumnae.
Peyton attended Sewanee: The University of the South after learning about the school from camp friends. She later earned her Master’s degree in Child Life, Family Collaboration, and Administration from Towson University and became a Certified Child Life Specialist. Peyton spent over eleven years at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center supporting children and families as they navigated the hospital setting. In addition to her role at CMS, Peyton is the founder of Little Health Co., where she brings health education, emotional support, and medical play to children in schools, camps, and community settings. Her work focuses on helping kids feel confident, informed, and less anxious about their bodies, health, and medical experiences.
Peyton lives in Baltimore with her husband, two sons, daughter, and dog—and she can’t wait for her daughter to be old enough to attend CMS! Peyton is excited to return as Healthcare Manager this summer, and we are thrilled to have her on the CMS team.
