Cowpasture Chronicle

Week Three

The Third Week started with our Day 1 schedule. After a sunny day, and finally getting back into the Cowpasture River, we all gathered for the long awaited Talent Show! Campers of all ages showcased their dancing, musical, and magical abilities. There were renditions from Broadway’s Wicked, card tricks, and acapella performances. The girls are so talented, and the winners will perform at Parent’s Weekend!

Tuesday was a routine Day 2 schedule. After a delicious dinner, the campers were surprised by the evening activity – Dance Bingo. Campers and counselors alike played different games of BINGO with hype dance breaks in between. If you were to look into West Lodge, you would see counselors dressed in silly costumes, campers dancing to “Anything Can Happen” (the Song of the Summer), and the BINGO winners enjoying their candy prizes.

Wednesday’s rain showers did not stop us from having another wonderful day at CMS. We ended the night with Junior vespers. Each camper shared what makes her feel at home while at camp. Different people, places, and songs make camp feel like their summer homes.

We can not believe how fast the first three weeks are flying by, and we are all looking forward to Parent’s Weekend!
