After a regular day of classes on Thursday, each cabin performed a dance they choreographed to a song of their choice – this is called Lipsync. After a few days of practice and much excitement, it was time for the performance in West Lodge! Each age group and cabin showed off their dancing and singing skills, creating such a fun atmosphere. Although each dance was incredible, Pony Express, 1 Down, 3 Up, The End, and the JCs came out on top. We had a much needed rainy and restful Friday with a two hour rest hour. The fun picked up again that night with the Junior Overnight and an impromptu movie night. The juniors roasted hotdogs and s’mores before they got cozy in West Lodge. The junior overnight is a right of passage, and the girls seemed to really love the big sleepover. Saturday was a team competition marathon, with volleyball and newcomb in the morning and wiffleball at night. The senior Buffs won volleyball, the junior Buffs won newcomb, and the junior Buffs won wiffleball. Both teams have been competing so well! The girls earned a good night’s sleep after their busy and active week!
